- A history of the township system
- The evolution of the digital grids of western Canada
- Understanding the errors and risks involved.
- Datums (NAD27/NAD83)
- A history of datums and ellipsoids
- The NAD27 and NAD83 datums of Canada
- The magnitude of risk in industry
- Wellsite locations
- Where is my well really located?
- Mitigating the risk
- Bart’s Theory of Survey Relativity
The presentation will be delivered in a clear manner that does not require an in-depth understanding of surveying, only a desire to eliminate the risk associated with these issues.
